Are the terminals and connectors the same?

To be precise, the terminals are part of the connector. Connectors are a general term. In fact, the connectors we usually use usually include two parts: housing and terminal. Housing is mostly plastic, plays a protective role, terminal is a metal, which acts as a conduction.
